The big banks have reinforced their position as dominant players in the wealth sector, according to a 2013 global bench-marking survey published by consulting firm Scorpio Partnership.

After analysing financial data for the year 2012, Scorpio discovered the sector enjoyed an average increase in net new money of 23.7%, against a drop of 27.9% in 2011, principally thanks to their success in capturing clients.
