The former head of Credit Suisse's UK operations has added his name to the growing list of senior City bankers to move into fintech, joining a startup that uses big data to help give fund managers the edge when investing.

Garrett Curran has joined Quant Insight as a senior adviser, according to a statement from the firm. Curran has reinvented himself as a real estate investor and adviser to venture capital funds since leaving Credit Suisse in 2016 and joins a number of former employees from the Swiss bank at Quant Insight.
