Bill Browder, the outspoken critic of Russian President Vladimir Putin, says Twitter may have saved his life after the former hedge fund manager was able to send out two tweets before being arrested by Spanish police on Wednesday.
Browder, who was held in Madrid on what he claimed was a Russian warrant issued through Interpol, told Financial News that he managed to tweet twice before police confiscated his phone — something the 54-year-old says may have ultimately been life saving.
