Cristiano Ronaldo has become the latest sports star to dip his toes into the world of cryptocurrency despite the crisis rocking the sector, signing a sponsorship deal with the world’s largest crypto exchange Binance.

The Portuguese footballer, who is one of the most recognisable figures in world sport, will have a collection of non-fungible tokens created that will be sold exclusively by the exchange.
