European crypto exchange Bitstamp has been rubber-stamped to operate in the UK by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Bitstamp UK Limited secured regulatory approval on 13 June, according to an update on the FCA's crypto register and confirmed to Financial News by the regulator. It was the second firm to secure approval within two days — following broker Interactive Investors (UK). Before this, the regular had not given the thumbs up to any crypto firms since December.
