BKF Capital winds down $1.5bn hedge fund

BKF Capital, the US-listed asset manager which last week said it would need to re-state some financial results, is winding down a $1.5bn (€1.3bn) event-driven hedge fund after pay disagreements with its portfolio managers.

The company, which had total assets of $12.4bn at the end of June, said the fund's senior portfolio managers would leave in the first half of next year.
