BKN becomes first German firm to gain AIM fast-track listing

BKN International, the television company based in Cologne, has become the first German firm to list on AIM, the London alternative stock market, since it introduced fast-track admission rules in July.

The firm's shares are expected to start trading on AIM on December 6. While other larger German companies, such as Volkswagen, are listed on the main London Stock Exchange (LSE), BKN is the first to float on AIM. The company is also raising capital through a 4.2 million share rights issue.
