BlackRock appoints law firm to probe claims of discrimination and ‘machismo’ culture

BlackRock, the US asset manager, has instructed a law firm to investigate allegations of discrimination and sexual harassment made by current and former employees.

The world’s largest asset manager has asked New York law firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison to conduct an internal review following two media reports which highlighted a string of sexual harassment and racial discrimination incidents.
