BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager, has bolstered its sustainable investment analytics on its influential risk and operations platform with the acquisition of a minority stake in a data fintech.

The US-headquartered fund manager, which oversees around $8.7tn in assets, has partnered with Clarity AI and will integrate its big data and machine learning led analytics across with Aladdin —which is used by rival asset managers, banks and other financial institutions worldwide running more than $20tn in assets
