BlackRock has climbed to the top of a high-profile ranking of top-performing fund managers in the UK’s retail sector — a fillip for the US group as it works to restore its stock pickers’ battered fortunes.
FE Analytics named 10 of BlackRock’s retail managers to 2019’s Alpha Managers list, the performance tracker’s annual ranking of long-term outperformers. This was more than any other investment group. Fidelity, last year’s top-ranked group, dropped to second place with nine on the list.
