BlackRock, Jupiter and Schroders are among a list of financial groups that have appeared on a blacklist published by the US state of Texas, with the three asset managers accused of boycotting energy companies.

Glenn Hegar, the Republican comptroller for Texas, published the names of 10 finance firms on 24 August, as well as almost 350 investment funds, which he claimed refuse to do business with fossil fuel companies.
