BlackRock has told its UK staff that it will keep its European headquarters in London – ending speculation that the investment giant could relocate large parts of it business to continental Europe because of Brexit.
According to a memo sent to BlackRock staff, and seen by Financial News, the $6.3tn asset manager told employees that the UK “remains our Emea [Europe, the Middle East and Africa] headquarters and will continue to be a high priority in the region”.
