BlackRock has called on the Financial Conduct Authority to include corporate access in any overhaul of how asset managers pay for investment research, a move that the world’s largest fund group says will help align the UK market with the US.

MiFID II changed the rules on corporate access — where brokers facilitate engagements between fund managers and the senior management of companies in which they invest — as well as research payment deals.
