BlackRock’s global head of transition management, Lachlan French, has been handed a bigger mandate in the investment giant's trading and liquidity strategies group, assuming responsibility for the US transition management business.
French, who joined BlackRock six years ago following its acquisition of Barclays Global Investors in 2009, relocated from London to San Francisco on November 1 to take the reins of transition management for the Americas, the world's largest asset manager confirmed in a statement on November 12.
