Blackstone, Apollo and more to adopt fee-disclosure template

SEC scrutiny pushes private equity giants to provide fuller accounting of costs

Blackstone Group and Apollo Global Management are joining a number of private equity firms that will provide detailed fee and expense disclosures to investors through a template created by Institutional Limited Partners Association – a sign of the regulatory pressures the industry faces to become more transparent.

The two investment giants pledged, alongside a group that includes Advent International, Hellman & Friedman and CCMP Capital Advisors, among others, to incorporate the trade group's standards into their reporting.
