Blackstone’s global co-chief investment officer has criticised the Met Police after an officer said an anti-semitism charity leader looked "openly Jewish" near a pro-Palestine march.
“Something is very wrong when the police threatens you with arrest for walking down the street because you exhibit a religious sign such as a kippah near a pro-Palestine demonstration and are accused of being ‘openly Jewish’,” said Lionel Assant in a LinkedIn post.
