The co-head of Blackstone Group’s European hedge fund investment programme and a campaigner on behalf of women in finance, has left the firm after more than 13 years, FN's sister publication Private Equity News reports. 

Kristen Eshak Weldon left the alternative asset management giant's $74bn hedge fund solutions business at the end of the last year, according to a person familiar with the matter, who added she is now studying at London Business School.
