Bank of London and the Middle East, the wholesale sharia'a compliant bank, has added Waleed Al-Omar to its senior management team as director of its Middle East and North Africa region. Al-Omar will be responsible for the bank's business development and relationship management in that region. He was most recently chairman of the board audit committee of the Bahrain-based First Investment Bank.
