Digital Asset, a New York-based blockchain firm backed by some of the biggest banks in the world, has hired a new chief executive to replace Blythe Masters, the former JPMorgan executive who quit in 2018.
Yuval Rooz will replace Masters as chief executive, Digital Asset said in a statement. He was previously the company’s chief operating officer. Rooz previously worked in algorithmic trading at DRW, whose chief executive, Don Wilson, co-founded Digital Asset, and Citadel, Ken Griffin’s investment group.
