Blockchain users cite confidentiality as top concern

Blockchain technology is attracting growing investment from financial firms, but many are still concerned about its ability to keep transactions private, according to a new study.

Research house Greenwich Associates polled more than 130 executives working on blockchain in capital markets. It found that the main security concern for those using distributed ledger technology in finance is transaction confidentiality, with 56% of respondents citing it as their primary worry.
