The blowout success of bond sales from Deutsche Telekom could be good news for rival France Télécom if it presses ahead with a much-tipped jumbo debt issue of its own, according to analysts.
Deutsche Telekom, which launched a €500m ($440m) two-year floating rate note issue earlier this week and then doubled it to €1bn, has already followed up with a short-dated fixed rate issue of between €300m and €500m, investors said.
