Second-generation hedge fund managers, who have trained at a large hedge fund outfit before going it alone, dominate a list of rising stars who have been singled out as the ones to watch as this decade unfolds.

These managers make a strong show in the list of 40 individuals, that the Hedge Fund Journal, in association with Ernst & Young, has identified as industry leaders. They range between just 30 to 45 years old.
