BlueBay Asset Management’s veteran chief financial officer, who oversaw the firm’s IPO and subsequent acquisition by Canadian financial giant Royal Bank of Canada, has retired.

Nick Williams, who has held the role of finance chief since the fixed income specialist was launched in 2001, left at the end of 2016, BlueBay confirmed in a statement.
