Blythe Masters, the blockchain executive and former JPMorgan commodities chief, has called out the male-dominated crowd at an annual City dinner to demand that the commodity-trading industry do more to create better opportunities for women.

Masters, who is among the most high-profile women on Wall Street, was addressing attendees at the London Metal Exchange’s annual black-tie dinner at a Mayfair hotel on Tuesday. The event attracts luminaries including government ministers, members of the UK’s House of Lords, and senior mining executives.
