French bank BNP Paribas' chief executive on Wednesday highlighted the cautious stance the bank has taken toward the Greek economy as concerns over debt levels among euro-zone countries continued to roil markets.

"We've had quite a reserved attitude to the Greek risk for several years now," Baudouin Prot said in an interview broadcast on French radio station BFM.
