BNP Paribas has created a new senior sales role to pitch its global markets research to its biggest institutional clients, as banks face increasing regulatory and competitive pressures to prove the value of their analysis.
The French bank said in a statement today that its global head of foreign exchange strategy, Steven Saywell, has taken on a new role focusing on "driving the uptake of BNP Paribas' global markets research, including economics and markets strategy across all asset classes, among the bank's top institutional clients".
