BNP Paribas has hired a veteran capital markets banker from Citigroup to a key role within its team helping companies raise equity finance.

Roger Barb has joined the French bank as head of execution in ECM, a role that will give him responsibility for overseeing BNP Paribas’ “most important” equity deals, according to a statement.
