Thierry Marais is set to join BNP Paribas as head of the banking and specialised financing sector within the bank's corporate finance department in Paris.

The bank has made a series of additions to its financial institutions group recently, and in November added five new hires to its London department. Also in November, Thierry Lange was appointed as head of the insurance sector within the corporate finance group.
