BNP Paribas makes M&A debut for Sanwa Shutter

BNP Paribas has advised on its first deal for Sanwa Shutter of Japan, giving the French bank's German M&A practice another welcome boost since hiring ex-Lazard banker Philip Meyer-Horn to lead the team.

Sanwa Shutter, the Japanese manufacturing group, has agreed to buy Novoferm, the doors business of German steel company ThyssenKrupp, for €167m ($197m).
