BNP Paribas has appointed Brian Lazell, head of its Asia-Pacific credit markets business, as head of European corporates within its debt capital markets team.

Lazell will relocate to London from Hong Kong to take up his new role on October 1, reporting to Paul Hearn, global head of primary markets at BNP Paribas. He replaces Ann Iveson, who left in July after lodging a complaint against the bank on the grounds of sexual discrimination.
