Barclays Capital has recruited three people from BNP Paribas to work with recently-appointed European head of telecommunications and media, Ken Goldsbrough.

Dominic Hare and Andrew Shellard join as directors, and Mark Hawken becomes associate director. The appointments reinforce Barclays Capital's efforts to expand its media and telecoms business, which now has a 10-strong team based in London.
