BNP Paribas wins debt finance mandate on Alstom unit LBO

CDC Equity Capital and Charterhouse, the UK private equity house owned by HSBC, have turned to BNP Paribas as global lead arranger and Royal Bank of Scotland as lead arranger for the €770m ($675m) leveraged buy-out of Alstom's contracting division.

CDC, the French private equity house which is part of the Caisse des Dépots group, teamed up with Charterhouse to secure the Alstom deal.
