BNY shakes up Newton investment teams as EM head exits

Newton Investment Management has overhauled some of its main investment teams, leading to the departure of several portfolio managers at the BNY-owned subsidiary.

BNY Investments and Wealth chief executive Jose Minaya informed BNY and Newton IM staff in a memo on 21 May that the asset manager would make changes across the business to focus on “four core investment disciplines”.
