Bank of America's private equity arm has bought Janton Oyj, a Finnish quoted media company, for €121m ($136m), as part of a drive into the Nordic region.

BA Capital Management, formerly named Banc of America Equity Partners Europe, now owns 93% of the company, paying €13 per share. Janton Oyj, listed on the Helsinki stock exchange, is a publishing company of mainly free magazines.
