BoA taps Bottega as chief data officer

Bank of America has hired John Bottega as chief data officer in New York. Bottega will now oversee the bank's data management strategy and policy. He was previously chief data officer at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and is chairman of the board of directors for industry association the Enterprise Data Management Council.
