Greifeld 2013 compensation rises 55.3%

Nasdaq also nominates former information chief at General Electric to its board

Robert Greifeld, chief executive of Nasdaq OMX, was paid $13.8 million in 2013, an increase of 55.3% from 2012, according to the company's annual proxy filing.

He received $12.8 million in stock awards and other incentives, on top of his base salary of $1 million, the filing said. Greifeld entered a new five-year contract with Nasdaq OMX on February 22, 2012. He joined the company in 2003.
