Robert Pickel, the former chief executive of the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, has joined interdealer broker Tradition’s swap execution facility as a member of its board, as US authorities consider revisiting the rules on how such venues operate.

Pickel will be a non-executive director for TraditionSEF, which gained approval to operate in September 2013. He started his new role on April 1 and will provide strategic advice and sit on the regulatory committee.
