BofA makes investment banking promotions in Paris

Bank of America chose Paris as its new EU hub in the wake of the UK’s departure from the European Union

Bank of America has promoted two long-serving executives to key positions in Europe, as the US group continues to bolster its Paris operations in the wake of Brexit.

Fernando Vicario, a 25-year veteran of the bank, has been named head of corporate and investment banking for the European Union, according to an internal memo seen by Financial News. He will be based in the French capital.
