Bolton remains upbeat in crisis

Legendary Fidelity equity manager is also building a musical career

Amid the market maelstrom, Anthony Bolton is surprisingly upbeat – both on prospects for the stock market and his new career as a classical music composer.

Bolton said stocks are oversold and in bull market territory, after hitting their low in November. Economies are deeply troubled, but he said efforts by governments to restimulate them will produce a sharp rise in equities this year.
