Investment giants Pimco and BlackRock are on course to end 2019 as the best-selling fund managers in Europe, with increased appetite for bonds across the region driving inflows to the US duo.

According to data from Morningstar, BlackRock’s exchange traded funds division, iShares, pulled in net sales of €41bn between January and the end of October — putting it top of the sales chart for the period.
