Bond fund exodus hits post-crisis high

European investors yanked €16.3 billion out of bond funds in September, according to data provider Morningstar, taking their net outflows to €34.1 billion in the third quarter – the biggest quarterly exodus since the 2008 financial crisis.

Emerging market and corporate bond funds fared the worst over the three-month period.
