Bonpun leaves Merrill Lynch for the buy-side

Guillaume Bonpun has left Merrill Lynch's debt capital markets business and will be joining an asset management company.

Bonpun, who was responsible for European bond issuance in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), joined Merrill in 2000 from Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (then Dresdner Kleinwort Benson). He was one of several bankers who followed TJ Lim from the German bank. Lim recently left Merrill after running the debt markets business for the EMEA region for two years.
