Here’s what you need to know about England’s latest one-month lockdown

Tougher national measures will see those living in England confined to their homes from Thursday unless they have a specific reason to go outside

England is set to enter a month-long lockdown in a bid to stem the spread of a second wave of the pandemic.

The tougher national measures will see those living in England confined to their homes unless they have a specific reason to go outside, the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced in a televised press conference on 31 October.
