The UK's Prime Minister Boris Johnson today announced further easing of lockdown restrictions in England – with indoor theatres, beauty salons, spas and casinos being allowed to reopen from 15 August.

The government has doubled fines to a maximum of £3,200 for those who "repeatedly flout face covering rules" as more lockdown restrictions are eased from the weekend.
