Boris Johnson has told parliament he makes “absolutely no apology at all” about a text message exchange in which he promised to “fix” a tax issue for vacuum cleaning tech billionaire Sir James Dyson.
"I make absolutely no apology at all for shifting heaven and earth and doing everything I possibly could, I think any prime minister would in those circumstances, to secure ventilators for people in this country," Johnson said on 21 April at Prime Minister’s questions.
