Boris Johnson’s father to apply for French citizenship as Britain exits EU

The father of Prime Minister Boris Johnson is in the process of applying for French citizenship in order to maintain links to the European Union.

Speaking on the day that the UK is set to fully withdraw from the bloc, Stanley Johnson said he wanted to get a French passport to remain connected to his European heritage.
