Börse plots HQ move to cut taxes

Deutsche Börse is to shift its headquarters out of Frankfurt to a suburb of the German city in a move aimed at cutting its tax burden and improving its ability to compete with international rivals.

The German exchange group said in a statement this morning it will move roughly 1,000 of its 3,000 global staff from Frankfurt to the neighbouring town of Eschborn in the second quarter of the year.
