Germany is to probe a series of share trades made by the head of its audit regulator, after it was revealed he had sold shares in Wirecard while investigating the firm.
Ralf Bose, head of German audit watchdog Apas, told German MPs on 10 December that he had bought and sold Wirecard shares earlier this year, the Financial Times reported. This happened in April and May, while Apas was in confidential talks with financial regulator Bafin over Wirecard.
