Bower gets £1.4m payout after SSSB drops appeal

SSSB will have to pay out £1.4m (€2.2m) to a former female analyst who was awarded the compensation after she brought a sexual discrimination case against her ex-employer, Schroder Securities.

The award to Julie Bower is the largest compensation paid out for unfair dismissal in a sexual discrimination suit in British history. However, SSSB continues to deny the allegations brought by Bower against Schroder Securities.
