Lawrence Bowman, the founder of the Californian fund manager Bowman Capital, has said he will return the $1.5bn (€1.7bn) currently in his firm's four successful hedge funds to investors.
The return of assets from the two domestic and two overseas funds will take place in the first quarter of next year, long before the expiry of the investors' "lock-up" periods.
